(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Mckeesport, Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in the emergency department, assessing symptoms, prioritizing cases, and initiating appropriate interventions
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, advancements, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures consistent with emergency protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to execute care plans and anticipate patient needs
• Maintain up-to-date, detailed documentation consistent with facility and regulatory standards
• Support, educate, and communicate with patients and their families during stressful or traumatic situations
• Adhere strictly to established safety protocols and infection control policies

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing
• Advanced knowledge of emergency care processes and clinical best practices
• BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care

$2,240 - $2,370/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
