Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Meriden, CT

Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses with emergency room experience to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the emergency department, you’ll leverage your clinical skills to assess, plan, and implement care for patients facing acute health challenges.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: Choose between 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Required call rotation includes 1 weekday (3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and one weekend every four weeks (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current standing
• Two or more years of recent emergency room nursing experience preferred
• Current certification through NMTCB or ARRT(N) is required
• Strong assessment, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• CPR, ACLS, and other relevant life support certification(s)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and emergent situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt, compassionate care to patients within the emergency room setting
• Triage, monitor, and assess patient conditions
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain thorough documentation of all care provided
• Support safe transitions of care and patient/family education
• Participate in ongoing training and compliance with all facility protocols

$2,323 - $2,458/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
