Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Milledgeville, GA

Seeking a dedicated RN with emergency room experience for a contract position providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent ER nursing experience required
• Strong knowledge of emergency procedures, triage, and patient assessment
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments, initiate appropriate interventions, and document care delivered in the ER
• Monitor vital signs and respond rapidly to medical emergencies following department protocols
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and continuous patient monitoring
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medication, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with fellow nurses, physicians, and support staff to provide seamless care
