Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Mooresville, NC

Advance your nursing career in a fast-paced emergency department environment. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced RNs seeking a dynamic 12-hour day shift schedule. Your expertise will make a real difference to patients and contribute to an efficient, supportive clinical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• 75% of holidays required

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to emergency department patients.
• Perform swift assessments, patient triage, and ongoing monitoring during critical situations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Document all care provided following hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Respond quickly and effectively during emergencies, using advanced clinical skills.
• Support and educate patients and their families in a high-stress environment.
• Float as needed within Region 1 facilities, which include Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, any freestanding ED within the region, Lake Norman, and Central Division locations.

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or ENPC preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in changing clinical environments.
• Previous travel nursing or multi-facility float experience is a plus.
