You’ll expand your clinical acumen, working alongside cohesive, multidisciplinary teams while engaging in evidence-based patient care across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with variable hours and potential for flexible scheduling

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete holistic patient assessments upon admission, considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
  • Continuously reassess patient health and adapt care plans as needed
  • Administer oral, topical, and parenteral medications utilizing best safety practices
  • Perform and document treatments and procedures, prioritizing infection control and patient privacy
  • Evaluate and document responses to care, address pain management, and update discharge planning
  • Educate patients and families, using educational resources such as Krames
  • Safely administer high-risk medications, blood transfusions, and follow all related policies
  • Effectively use diagnostic tools, SBAR communication, and document accurately
  • Follow all safety standards, participate in multidisciplinary planning, and adhere to core measures and hospital guidelines

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
  • Proficient with BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications (TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly preferred)
  • Strong skills in emergency assessments, triage, and patient prioritization
  • Experience caring for diverse age groups and managing both minor and life-threatening conditions
