Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license
• Previous emergency department experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly desired
• Proficiency in caring for patients across the age continuum—from newborn to geriatric
• Solid assessment, documentation, and patient education skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Thorough admission assessments, ongoing reassessment, and care plan development
• Accurate administration and documentation of medications and treatments
• Use of SBAR communication for seamless patient handoffs
• Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and policy compliance
• Patient and family education based on individualized needs
• Active participation in multidisciplinary planning and meeting National Patient Safety Goals
• Mastery of ED-specific protocols, patient flow, and emergency responses
