Schedule/Hours:
- Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week
- Holidays required, every other weekend
- Must be willing to float to additional units and hospitals
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in nursing
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses)
- Required certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS (or Red Cross), NIHSS, TNCC, SECURE on site
- Minimum 18 months nursing experience; at least 1 year recent experience in Emergency Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled, compassionate care in a busy Emergency Department
- Rapidly assess and prioritize patient needs in trauma and critical care scenarios
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health staff
- Support ongoing improvement in patient outcomes through evidence-based practices
- Adapt seamlessly to new units or locations as needed
