Taking on a travel assignment in emergency nursing here means collaborating with top-tier clinical teams and serving a diverse patient population in a 31-bed emergency department. With an average of 78 patients daily, you’ll encounter critical situations involving all ages and a wide range of complex diagnoses, ensuring each day presents new clinical challenges. This hands-on role will enhance your skills, encourage adaptive leadership, and deepen your expertise in crisis care strategies. Exposure to state-of-the-art technology, various healthcare delivery models, and supportive 24/7 resources promotes substantial professional growth while expanding your resume with valuable, marketable experience.

Schedule Options:

  • 12-hour shifts available: Days (7a–7p), Mids (11a–11p), Nights (7p–7a)
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • Assigned holidays based on rotation; flexible, manager-assisted scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience (travelers must have prior travel experience)
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Proficient with Cerner EMR and clinical technologies
  • Strong IV starts, triage, complex drip management, and neuro assessment skills
  • Adaptable, team-oriented, and confident leading within high-pressure environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert triage, stabilization, and ongoing care for diverse emergency cases
  • Perform and manage critical interventions: IVs, foley/NG tubes, sedation, pressors, cardiac drips
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and other allied disciplines
  • Offer clinical mentorship through example and ER subject matter expertise
