Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Nashville, GA

The department is currently evolving through a leadership reorganization and pursuing trauma designation, fostering a culture of best practices and shared governance.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (19:00 - 07:00)
• No block scheduling available
• Every other weekend required (Friday-Sunday)
• No on-call obligations

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Active RN state license (GA or compact) in hand
• At least 2 years of emergency room experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, NIH, TNCC (must have TNCC upon submission)
• Familiarity with EPIC charting
• Willingness to float, including the COVID unit

Preferred Experience:

• Background working in a Level I Trauma Center
• Experience caring for ventilated patients
• Strong triage experience
• First-time travelers welcome, but prior experience is valued

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective emergency care across a variety of cases and age groups
• Maintain patient ratios at 1:4
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams
• Uphold best practices amid unit expansion and cultural transformation
