Qualifications:

• Active RN license with eligibility to practice in New York
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in an Emergency Room setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment abilities and proficiency in emergency protocols
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with emergency nursing best practices
• Perform prompt triage, assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients with varied acute conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Advocate for patients and provide education to patients and families regarding conditions and treatment options
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records, documentation, and compliance with hospital policies
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and initiate critical interventions as necessary
