Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in New Hartford, NY

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in the Emergency Room using evidence-based protocols
• Deliver high-quality nursing interventions during trauma, cardiac, and medical emergencies
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with accuracy and attention to safety
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record accurately and promptly
• Provide emotional support and patient education to individuals and their families during stressful situations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Proficiency in emergency nursing skills, including IV starts, cardiac monitoring, and rapid response protocols
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are a plus)
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
