Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - New Hartford, NY

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience working in emergency room (ER) settings
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Strong assessment, triage, and crisis management skills
• Familiarity with EMR charting systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to adapt to evolving protocols and patient volumes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage incoming patients in the emergency department
• Deliver prompt, evidence-based nursing care for trauma, cardiac, medical, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform necessary interventions
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other clinicians
• Accurately document patient care and responses in electronic health records
• Provide patient and family education and maintain a supportive bedside manner
• Uphold established safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
