Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in New York, NY

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in an ER setting
• BLS and ACLS certification (PALS preferred)
• Excellent critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities

Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess incoming emergency patients, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform immediate interventions as necessary
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Monitor patient status, document assessments, and update charting accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the ER environment at all times
• Participate in department meetings, ongoing education, and continuous improvement efforts

$2,250 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
