Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Newfield, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are a plus)
• Excellent clinical judgment with sound decision-making in fast-paced situations
• Strong communication skills, both with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
• Educate and support patients and families throughout their ER visit
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
