Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Norfolk, Virginia

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Strong assessment, triage, and intervention skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication abilities and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid and comprehensive assessments of incoming emergency patients.
• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and implement physician orders.
• Utilize advanced life support skills to stabilize critical patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members regarding treatment plans and care progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory standards and support continuity of care.
