Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in North Fort Myers, FL

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in an Emergency Room setting for a contract position. Your assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills will have a direct impact on patient outcomes during urgent situations.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• TNCC and PALS certifications (preferred)
• Proficient in triage, trauma care, and emergency protocols
• Able to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment with flexible shifts
• Possibility of day, evening, or night shifts (specific hours will be discussed during the interview)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of urgent and emergent conditions
• Deliver high-quality nursing care under pressure and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, perform wound care, and manage cardiac and trauma emergencies
• Accurately document patient care, changes in status, and interventions in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements

$1,753 - $1,918/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
