(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Oak Creek, Wisconsin

Experienced emergency room nurses are needed for a contract opportunity to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. This role centers on the Emergency Department, supporting an accomplished healthcare facility with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage
• No on-call or floating responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience as an RN in an Emergency Room required
• Proficiency in emergency care best practices, rapid assessment, and triage
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (current and in good standing)
• Strong critical thinking skills, adaptability, and ability to prioritize in high-pressure situations
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to complete a clinical interview as part of the screening process

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct rapid, thorough assessments of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by providers
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive emergency care
• Document patient information and nursing actions accurately in electronic health records
• Educate patients and families regarding care, follow-up, and hospital procedures
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and quality standards at all times

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
