Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Olathe, KS

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 3 x 12-hour shifts, nights (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Two available positions at 36 hours per week, and one at 48 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Kansas
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications
• Previous experience in an emergency room setting, with strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Perform triage, administer medications, manage IVs, and respond to emergencies with confidence and poise
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines
