Deliver exceptional emergency nursing care in a dynamic clinical environment as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, offering hands-on involvement with patients needing urgent, life-saving interventions.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts (6:45pm–7:15am)
Key Qualifications:
- Active Kansas RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Previous experience working in Emergency Room settings as an RN
- Strong assessment, triage, and patient stabilization skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
- Excellent communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Triage incoming patients, assess acuity, and initiate prompt care plans
- Deliver compassionate bedside care, monitoring and documenting patient status during rapidly changing clinical situations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement care protocols and provide timely treatments
- Respond swiftly to codes, emergencies, and trauma cases following established ER standards
- Educate patients and families on care, discharge plans, and follow-up requirements
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records for all patients
