This opportunity involves working in a dynamic ER setting, managing acute and urgent medical situations in a collaborative environment. Nurses should bring advanced clinical skills, composure under pressure, and a patient-centered approach.

Schedule:

  • 13-week contract
  • Night shifts, 6:45pm – 7:15am
  • Options for 36 or 48 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure in the state of Kansas
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • TNCC certification required
  • Recent experience as an RN in an Emergency Room setting
  • Strong assessment, triage, and critical intervention skills
  • Ability to work effectively in urgent, high-stress situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency medical concerns
  • Administer medications, perform life-saving interventions, and provide continuous monitoring
  • Collaborate efficiently with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Deliver compassionate, clear patient and family education regarding diagnoses and care plans
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for patients and fellow staff
