Schedule/Hours:
- 36/48 hour workweeks
- Mids: 9:00 am and 11:00 am start times
- No holiday RTO approved
Qualifications:
- Current California RN license required
- Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Demonstrated experience with both Cerner and EPIC electronic medical record systems
- Emergency department nursing background (RN-ER)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care
Responsibilities:
- Triage and assess patients in the ER, ensuring timely and appropriate clinical interventions
- Respond to acute patient needs and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
- Operate effectively in high-pressure situations, remaining focused on patient safety
- Document all patient encounters, medications, and treatments accurately using Cerner and EPIC
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and hospital procedures in compliance with state and national standards
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during emergency care
