A critical care opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses specialized in Emergency Room care. This contract position offers flexible scheduling options in Palmdale, CA, where skilled professionals contribute to urgent and trauma care with precision and compassion.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- CPI or MAB certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Emergency Department experience, including Level I and II trauma cases
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
Work Schedule:
- Two openings available: 2 Day shifts and 2 Night shifts
- Day shift begins at 6:00 AM
- Night shift begins at 6:00 PM
- Scheduling options: 36 or 48 hours per week on a GWW (Greater Weighted Workweek) basis
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level emergency nursing care to critically ill and trauma patients
- Perform rapid assessment and effective intervention in acute medical situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely and precise care in the Emergency Department
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
