Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Paris, Texas

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Ability to assess, triage, and provide immediate care for patients with a variety of urgent medical conditions
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to rapidly changing situations and ability to thrive under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform primary assessments, triage, and deliver emergency care to patients with a wide range of conditions
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, and provide advanced interventions as indicated
• Monitor patient status and modify care plans as needed in collaboration with physicians and other team members
• Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and after-care instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, observations, and interventions within the electronic medical record system
• Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for everyone
