Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Paris, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional ER-related credentials (TNCC, PALS) strongly preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient, family, and team interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform prompt and thorough assessment, triage, and monitoring of patients presenting to the Emergency Room
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, observing for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive patient care
• Manage critical situations utilizing advanced life support techniques
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and next steps
• Accurately document interventions and outcomes in medical records
