Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Payson, IL

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• 1+ year of recent experience as an Emergency Room RN
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment
• Rotating shifts; flexibility required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with medical emergencies
• Accurately triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical presentation
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and thoroughly
• Monitor, reassess, and respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions
• Participate in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Offer emotional support to patients and families during critical moments
