Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Prior experience in Emergency Room settings
• Advanced assessment skills across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric
• Proficiency in administering medications (oral, topical, parenteral) following safety protocols
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC (TNCC/ATCN/CEN strongly preferred)
• Effective communicator, comfortable with SBAR handoffs and interdisciplinary team dynamics

Primary Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive patient assessment and re-assessment based on evolving needs
• Formulation and ongoing review of individualized care plans
• Administration and documentation of medications, treatments, and diagnostic interventions
• Evidence-based patient education incorporating Krames or equivalent resources
• Accurate, legible documentation including response to care, pain management, discharge planning, and compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Active participation in multidisciplinary care planning and adherence to hospital policies (including disaster preparedness and patient privacy)
• Proficient management of patient flow, rapid evaluations, and high acuity cases within the ED
