Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with flexible scheduling

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active RN license, unrestricted in California
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN strongly preferred
  • Expertise in advanced patient assessment, especially in fast-paced settings
  • Previous experience with age-appropriate care from pediatric to geriatric
  • Strong competency in patient education and discharge planning
  • Proven ability to handle high-risk medications and life-threatening emergencies
  • Adaptability to different communication styles and multidisciplinary collaboration

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Prompt, systematic assessment and reassessment of all patients
  • Development, revision, and documentation of individualized plans of care
  • Safe administration of medications and implementation of treatments
  • Proficient documentation using unit-specific flow sheets
  • Patient and family education focusing on needs and discharge planning
  • Communication of changes in patient condition using SBAR
  • Compliance with hospital infection control, patient safety, and regulatory policies
  • Active participation in emergency and disaster response drills
  • Contributing to ongoing quality improvement, safety initiatives, and education
