This travel nursing opportunity places you at the forefront of emergency healthcare, caring for a diverse population with complex conditions, including stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases. This experience will not only broaden your clinical skillset but also offer you a deeper understanding of managing challenging cases within a supportive, fast-paced environment. Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 7PM – 7AM Night Shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call and no floating
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment or Compact License
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- TNCC certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum one year’s experience in Emergency Room or high-acuity setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessment, care planning, and implementation for a high-acuity patient population
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient response and side effects
- Accurately document care, patient history, and interventions
- Educate patients and families, tailoring information to their unique needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, delegating and overseeing care as appropriate
- Fulfill all required departmental and facility competencies
