Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Pinson, Alabama

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in Emergency Room settings strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively during high-pressure situations
• Experience with electronic health record systems

Responsibilities:

• Triage and prioritize care for incoming ER patients, recognizing and responding rapidly to emergent conditions
• Administer medications, perform ongoing assessments, and execute physician orders accurately
• Document patient care, interventions, and progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with doctors, other nurses, and support staff to create a safe and comforting environment for patients and families
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, follow-up care, and home management as needed
