Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent ER experience (hospital setting strongly preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC a plus
- Excellent assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication abilities for interacting with diverse patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and rapid triage of emergency department patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on established protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families during urgent, stressful situations
- Operate and monitor specialized ER equipment
- Ensure thorough, accurate documentation within electronic medical records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines
