Travel (RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Prospect, Kentucky

Schedule/Hours:

• Days: 07:00 – 19:00
• Mids: 11:00 – 23:00
• Nights: 19:00 – 07:00
• Every 3rd weekend rotation
• Holiday assignments on rotation
• Schedules released approximately one month in advance

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert emergency care to all age groups, from infants to geriatrics
• Triage patients and deliver care for cardiac, trauma, behavioral health, and complex medical cases
• Initiate and titrate critical drips, perform IV starts, insert Foley and NG tubes, and conduct NIHSS neuro assessments
• Respond to codes, deliver moderate sedation for procedures, and manage critical and complex patients
• Work collaboratively in a dynamic team, demonstrating adaptability and clinical leadership

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum 2 years’ ER experience in any trauma level; not open to first-time travelers
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Skilled in IV starts, neuro assessments, complex patient management, and procedural assistance
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and leadership abilities
