Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Prospect, KY

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Emergency Room RN ready to step into a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With exposure to a 31-bed emergency department handling an average of 78 patients per day across all age groups, you’ll expand your clinical expertise by treating a diverse array of cases, from trauma and cardiac events to behavioral health and critical care scenarios. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team—24/7 support from charge nurses, physicians, specialists, and advanced technology—you’ll experience various workplace practices and leadership styles that are essential for advancing your career.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Mid Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday schedule: Rotational

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience (trauma experience welcome)
• Proficiency with IV starts, foleys, NG tubes, neuro assessments, triage, pressors/cardiac drips, and critical care protocols
• Team-oriented, adaptable, strong clinical leadership
• Familiarity with Cerner preferred

Responsibilities:

• Care for diverse patient populations from infants to geriatrics
• Triage, stabilize, and manage medical emergencies and traumas
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for excellence in ER practice
