Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Prospect, KY

This is an excellent opportunity to add a variety of high-acuity experiences to your resume within a 31-bed Emergency Department that serves an average of 78 patients per day, ranging from infants to geriatric individuals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage complex patient diagnoses, and be supported by round-the-clock access to charge nurses, ER providers, respiratory therapists, and other vital staff.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Mid Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday rotation as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with minimum 2 years ER experience (trauma level experience welcomed)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, foleys, NG tubes, neuro assessments, triage, codes, and critical care interventions
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• A strong team player who leads by example; adaptability is essential
• First-time travelers not accepted

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert emergency care to all ages with diverse diagnoses
• Triage, assess, and intervene during critical situations
• Initiate and titrate drips, deliver moderate sedation, and support bedside procedures
• Collaborate closely with a comprehensive care team in a fast-paced environment
