Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Providence, RI

Step confidently into a fast-paced emergency nursing role with a 13-week contract opportunity serving a dynamic patient population. This position is ideal for skilled registered nurses experienced in Level One trauma centers, eager to make a difference in an energetic ER setting.

Schedule:

• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Night shifts
• No on-call requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Rhode Island or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in a Level One ER environment (required)
• Proficiency in emergency care protocols and trauma management
• Must complete a VOICE ADVANTAGE INTERVIEW – List A
• Ready to begin work on either 8/17 or 8/31, with orientation every other week

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency care, triaging and managing a wide spectrum of cases in a high-acuity environment
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients efficiently
• Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Guide, support, and educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery options
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
• Demonstrate a calm and responsive manner under pressure, prioritizing multiple critical patients

$2,001 - $2,189/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
