Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Providence, RI

Experienced emergency room registered nurses are sought for a dynamic contract assignment providing frontline care at a high-acuity facility. This 13-week opportunity offers a chance to work alongside fellow professionals committed to excellence in emergency medicine.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, flexible options of 36 or 48 hours per week
• No on-call requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with eligibility to practice in Rhode Island (compact license accepted)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent clinical background in a Level One Trauma Center essential
• Previous experience as an ER nurse, confidently managing acute, urgent, and complex cases
• Must complete VOICE ADVANTAGE INTERVIEW process and be listed as ‘A’ candidate
• Ready to begin on either 9/28 or 10/12, depending on orientation schedule (every other weekend)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in the Emergency Department
• Initiate nursing assessments, swiftly triage patients, and prioritize care to address critical needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement effective care plans
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment in performing interventions, administering medications, and executing physician orders
• Remain adaptable in a fast-paced, unpredictable setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion
