Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Day/Night rotating shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with emergency room experience
- At least 1 year of previous travel nursing experience
- Comfortable providing care across multiple areas of the ED, including hallways
- Adaptability to manage patient medications and supplies from different care areas
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and rapid decision-making skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ER patients in both traditional and nontraditional spaces
- Rapidly respond to evolving clinical priorities and urgent situations
- Safely prepare, administer, and document medications and interventions
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate, timely records and clear communication with both team members and patients
- Uphold infection control and safety protocols throughout the shifting ED landscape
- Support patient and family needs with empathy, especially during times of stress or uncertainty
