Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and PALS certifications preferred
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced situations

Major Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in an emergency room setting across all acuity levels
• Triage patients using established protocols and ER best practices
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to initiate and coordinate care
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and compassion
• Provide patient and family education related to procedures, treatments, and recovery
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements
