Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Rialto, California

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments within established time frames, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Reassess health status as warranted, implementing the nursing process based on systematic patient data
• Develop, review, and update individualized plans of care for each patient
• Administer oral, topical, and parenteral medications safely and accurately
• Perform treatments and procedures adhering to sterile techniques and hospital protocols
• Document care, assessments, progress, and education in a clear, timely, and accurate manner
• Educate patients and families using assessed needs and approved resources
• Analyze diagnostic data, communicate changes in clinical condition, and utilize SBAR during handoffs
• Follow patient safety goals, infection control policies, and documentation guidelines for medication, transfusion, and patient identifiers
• Respond promptly to emergencies, participate in disaster response, and follow ED-specific protocols
• Maintain certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC (TNCC/ATCN/CEN preferred)

Ideal Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Experience in Emergency Department nursing across all ages, from infants to geriatrics
• Proficiency in advanced patient assessment and managing high-acuity situations
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and interdisciplinary teamwork
