In this vital ER nursing role, you will play an integral part in fast-paced patient care, leveraging your critical thinking in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You’ll assess and monitor patients across the age spectrum, administer and evaluate treatments, and document care in alignment with established hospital protocols. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications (TNCC, ATCN, and CEN highly desirable)
• Emergency Department competency with experience in patient assessment, admission, and discharge across diverse age groups
• Experience in both minor and life-threatening emergency care scenarios
• Familiarity with rapid medicine evaluation and the teaching/physician residency model
• Ability to interpret diagnostic data and communicate patient changes promptly
• Skilled in documentation, infection control, and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive patient assessment on admission and throughout each shift
• Plan of care development and updates, interdisciplinary communication
• Medication administration and evaluation of effects, including high-risk drugs
• Patient/family education, discharge planning, comfort and pain management
• Knowledgeable in safety, disaster, and infection control protocols
• Adherence to hospital policies, documentation, and patient rights
