Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Riverside, CA

As a travel nurse in the Emergency Room setting, you’ll collaborate with professionals from varied backgrounds, broadening your understanding of best practices and leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed during the interview process)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certification required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly preferred
• Proven experience across the age spectrum, from infants to geriatrics
• Competency in minor to life-threatening emergency care situations
• Previous Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience highly desired

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments on admission and throughout each shift, considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Establish, review, and update individualized care plans
• Safely administer medications and treatments, following the 7 rights and hospital standards
• Document all patient care, assessments, medication effects, and teaching in a clear, timely, and accurate manner
• Educate patients and families using appropriate resources
• Respond to dynamic patient needs, activating rapid response or code teams as indicated
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team and use SBAR for all handoffs
• Adhere to infection control policies, National Patient Safety Goals, and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
