Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent Emergency Department experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly desired
• Demonstrated ability to care for patients from newborns to geriatrics
• Proficiency with advanced patient assessments and emergency procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive, timely patient assessments and document responses to care
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families using SBAR and other handoff tools
• Participate in multidisciplinary planning, patient education, and discharge coordination
• Adhere to infection control, blood transfusion, and safety standards
• Utilize hospital systems for documentation and follow ED-specific processes for admissions and discharges
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
