Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications (TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly regarded)
• Experience with all age groups: neonatal through geriatric
• Strong clinical assessment, rapid response, and ED documentation skills
• Proficiency educating patients/families and collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial assessments and reassess based on nursing processes
• Formulate, review, and update individualized plans of care
• Safely administer medications and treatments following best practices
• Thoroughly document care, interventions, and patient responses in ED flow sheets
• Respond to emergent clinical situations, activate the Rapid Response Team, and follow all hospital safety protocols
• Educate patients and families, advocate for patient rights, and ensure confidentiality
• Uphold infection control standards and participate in ongoing safety training
