Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Rochester, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and TNCC preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Competence with electronic health record documentation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-focused nursing care, including triage, monitoring, and interventions for individuals experiencing urgent or emergent health issues
• Administer medications and therapeutic treatments as prescribed, closely monitoring for effectiveness and safety
• Rapidly assess and stabilize patients with a variety of medical and trauma-related conditions
• Coordinate with physicians and ancillary staff to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on care needs and discharge instructions
• Uphold infection control and quality assurance protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
