Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (RN-ER)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and PALS preferred
• Strong assessment skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient in critical thinking, multitasking, and technologically adept with EMR systems
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess incoming patients, determining level of care and urgency
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and life-saving interventions
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with physicians, providers, and support staff
• Monitor, document, and report patient status, changes, and progress through electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on care plans, post-treatment instructions, and follow-up appointments
• Prioritize a safe environment in accordance with infection control and hospital protocols
