Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Rome, NY

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Registered Nurse with recent Emergency Room experience who thrives in fast-paced clinical settings. Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Proven clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress situations
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage incoming patients and initiate appropriate care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Monitor patients for changes in status and make quick, informed decisions
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Maintain detailed, timely, and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff to coordinate quality care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and facility guidelines
