Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Rome, New York

Deliver excellent patient care in a dynamic emergency department, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse with experience in emergency services. This contract assignment provides the opportunity to support a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during urgent situations.

What You Bring:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse, specifically in the Emergency Room setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and adapt rapidly to evolving situations

Role Expectations:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with a diverse range of emergencies
• Triage, assess, monitor, and document patient status and care provided
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and assist with procedures following established protocols and provider orders
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on treatment, follow-up, and preventive care
• Uphold best practices related to infection control, safety, and confidentiality
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to facilitate coordinated patient care

$2,067 - $2,262/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
