In this role, you will join a 65-bed, pod-based emergency department equipped to handle over 230 patient visits per day, ensuring every shift brings valuable and varied experiences. You will collaborate with skilled teams, learn new approaches in patient care, and boost your resume by gaining hands-on exposure to specialized areas, including pediatric and acute mental health pods. Salem’s prime location allows for getaways to beautiful coastlines and historic landmarks during your time off, offering enriching adventures beyond your professional growth.
Schedule:
- Nights, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Free on-site parking
- Non-rotating night position; low frequency of day rotation when required
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of recent experience as an Emergency Department RN
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- NRP & TNCC certifications strongly preferred
- Expertise in general ED nursing (assessment, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education)
- Experience with EPIC ASAP charting system a plus

- Deliver comprehensive, compassionate emergency care to all patient populations
- Prioritize patient safety and timely interventions in a fast-paced environment
- Efficiently document and communicate using EPIC ASAP
- Flexibly float within units as needed
