Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Shawnee, KS

Schedule:

• 3 12-hour night shifts per week
• Hours: 6:45pm – 7:15am
• 13-week commitment

Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas RN license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
• Demonstrated experience in an Emergency Room setting as an RN
• Strong assessment, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and vital signs
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Implement protocols for trauma and critical conditions in accordance with hospital guidelines
• Provide support and education to patients and their families during crisis situations
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulations and best practices
