(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Shawnee, Kansas

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week (12 hours each)
• Night shifts: 6:45pm – 7:15am

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in Kansas (KS)
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an RN in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies
• Rapidly assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and therapies following current protocols and physician orders
• Deliver accurate, timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and care provided
• Maintain clear communication with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and family members
• Stay current with best practices and policies relevant to emergency nursing
