Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting
- Strong triage, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival and throughout their emergency department stay
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by providers
- Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to any changes or emergencies
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and aftercare instructions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide compassionate care, emotional support, and advocacy for patients and their loved ones
