As an Emergency Room RN, you’ll work within a well-supported, fast-paced unit serving patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics. You will broaden your professional horizons through exposure to diverse patient populations and critical scenarios, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team backed by 24/7 support from ER leadership, physicians, respiratory therapists, intensivists, and hospitalists. This assignment is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your ER expertise, adapt to innovative workplace practices, and further develop leadership and adaptability—qualities highly sought after nationwide.

Schedule Options:

  • Days: 0700-1900
  • Mids: 1100-2300
  • Nights: 1900-0700
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday rotation based on unit needs
  • No on-call required

Desired Background:

  • Two or more years of recent ER nursing experience (any trauma level)
  • First-time travelers not accepted
  • Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification required
  • Demonstrated skills: IV starts, foley/NG tube insertion, neuro assessment, triage, codes, critical care (pressors, cardiac drips, sedation), and bedside procedures
  • Adaptability and teamwork are essential—willingness to be a clinical role model and ER subject matter expert

Position Highlights:

  • Care for an average of 78 patients per day (1:4-5 nurse-patient ratio)
  • Serve a wide range of patient needs: medical, trauma, behavioral health, and complex post-transplant scenarios
