Professionally, you’ll work in a dynamic, high-volume ER (31 beds, averaging 78 patients daily) that treats a diverse, all-ages population. Exposure to a range of diagnoses and procedures will strengthen your clinical acumen, leadership, and adaptability. Collaborate closely with 24/7 supportive resources—charge nurse, ER physicians, midlevels, and hospitalists—offering you the opportunity to learn from various management styles and build a truly impressive resume.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: 0700-1900, 1100-2300, 1900-0700
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday expectations: Rotating assigned holidays
  • No on-call required
  • Schedule created in 6-week cycles (not guaranteed block, but flexible when possible)

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience (trauma level experience acceptable)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
  • Proficient in Cerner EMR (preferred), IV starts, foleys, NG tubes, triage, neuro assessments, cardiac/critical drips, sedation, hyper/hypothermia care
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, proven ER clinical leadership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert emergency care to patients of all ages
  • Triage and manage a full spectrum of emergent diagnoses and trauma
  • Initiate and titrate life-saving drug therapies and sedation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient care
  • Serve as an ER subject matter expert and resource for peers
