Schedule/Hours

• Day: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Mid: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Night: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call

Essential Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience (any trauma level required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in IV starts, foley and NG tube insertion, neuro assessments, triage, handling codes, critical patient care, administering/titrating drips, bedside procedures, and moderate sedation
• Strong leadership, adaptability, and teamwork
• Prior travel assignment experience required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct emergency care for diverse age groups, from infants to geriatrics
• Manage and triage complex cases: trauma, cardiac emergencies (NSTEMI/STEMI), sepsis, DKA, respiratory/kidney/liver failure, behavioral health, and more
• Prioritize patient stabilization and initiate transfers as necessary
• Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 in-house support from providers, charge nurses, and specialists
• Utilize Cerner EMR and advanced unit technology
• Adhere to unit protocols and participate in ongoing education
