Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Sterling Heights, MI

Schedule:

• 13-week assignment with potential to extend
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:00am; Mids: variable shifts (2:00pm – 2:00am)
• No block scheduling
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Michigan
• BSN required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; TNCC preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Proven ability to perform effectively in both night and variable mid-shift environments
• Effective teamwork approach and adaptability in rapidly changing situations

Role Responsibilities:

• Rapid assessment and triage of incoming ER patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients experiencing diverse and acute medical conditions
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, assessments, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care instructions

$1,924 - $2,105/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
