Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Sylmar, CA

Schedule Details:

• 36/48 schedule
• Day shifts

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current)
• NIHSS certification
• Significant experience using Cerner systems and proficiency with EPIC EHR required
• Proven history of excellence as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Room, responding efficiently to a range of acute and urgent medical needs
• Actively participate in rapid assessments, triage, and the implementation of care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Accurately document care and patient progress using Cerner and EPIC
• Provide compassionate communication with patients and their families in stressful situations
• Promote a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment focusing on rapid yet thorough care transitions
