Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Tonganoxie, KS

Schedule and Hours

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Occasional weekends and holiday coverage
• One on-call shift per week
• Start date: Mid to late May preferred

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (5+ years strongly preferred)
• Background working in large healthcare facilities desired
• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Ability to adapt to rarely needed floating shifts
• New graduates not accepted for this role

Primary Responsibilities

• Triage and manage acute and complex patient cases in the Emergency Room
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in dynamic clinical situations
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, implementing best practices for patient safety and outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress using electronic health records
• Remain prepared for high-acuity cases and participate in ongoing training and hospital-specific orientation (Mondays)
